Madeleine Nicolas graces premiere of ‘Maharlika Warrior Spirit’

It was a resounding success.

The premiere showing of the film "Maharlika Warrior Spirit" at the Cinemark Baldwin Hills & XD Theaters in Los Angeles, California, that is.

According to one of its stars, Madeleine Nicolas, "the film was well-received."

Madeleine flew to the US before Valentine's Day to attend the historic event which was part of the prestigious Pan African Film and Arts Festival (PAFF).

"Thank you so much to my barkada (peer group), friends and niece who attended the premiere screening of our film,...Your support and presence mrany a lot," noted Nicolas in her Facebook wall.

Some of the Filipino theater personalities in the US who graced the affair were Gigette Reyes, Skyzx Labastilla and Olga Natividad.

"Maharlika Warrior Spirit," produced by LindsayLuvU Productions, to quote Mads "...is an anti-sex trafficking movie that is set to ignite a movement disguised as a superhero film."

It stars Madeleine, Lindsay Castillo, Hazel Lozano and Andrew Truong.

The film is co-written by Lindsay D. Castillo and Cruz Thomas and directed by Hilarion Banks. Json Crown is Executive Producer.
