When controversial Fil-Briton filmmaker Jowee Morel ("Moma," "EC2Luv," "Mona Singapore Escort," "When a Gay Man Loves," "Latak," "HiStory," "Strictly Confidential," "Leona Calderon," "The Making of Quezon City," etc.) comes home anytime from the United Kingdom, the first thing he will do is to visit Luisiana, Laguna.
What is there in Luisiana that isn't in his hometown Pagsanjan?
"'Yong (That) Aliw Falls," said Jowee with a sparkle in his eyes.
Then he sent us beautiful shots of the falls.
"Punta tayo (Let's go there)," he convinced us.
"Alam kong grabe ang init sa Pilipinas ngayon kaya pagpunta ko r'yan, kailangang lumubog tayo sa malamig na tubig (I know the hot weather in the Philippines is excruciating so when I go there, I need to immerse in the cool and clear waters)." said Jowee who has resettled in Liverpool, England.
Morel, aside from filmmaking, has established his acupuncture clinic in the UK.
"Mahirap umasa sa showbiz sa atin kaya (It's hard to bank on our show business so) it's wise to do other businesses in the health sector," opined Jowee.

Aliw Falls is located at Barangay San Salvador in Luisiana.
