That was what Luis Manzano did for his wife and daughter.
He packed their things up, directed each one, especially beloved Jessy Mendiola, to just be with him in the joyous trip of the season.
It’s summer and what a way to welcome it by the presence of the blossoming of cherry flowers in the House of the Rising Sun.
It was a memorable trip for Jessy as she noted in her response to Lucky Manzano’s filial bonding with him and the kid.
“So glad we were able to catch the first bloom of Sakura in Shioin Park. It was Isabelle Rose’s — Baby Peanut — first time to see cherry blossoms. Sobrang saya niya tumakbo at maglaro sa (She was overjoyed running and playing in the) park,” said Mendiola.
She thanked the lensmen of Cocoon Studio for capturing the moment through photos.
From Lipa City to Ayala Alabang to any part of Metro Manila and on to Japan.
It was one way of dreaming and loving summertime “and the living is easy as…” the song of Louis Armstong or George Gershwin had expressed.
In the Philippines, back to work for dad Luis while mom mostly stays home to take care of Baby Peanut.
