In her Instagram posts, actress Jessy Mendiola disclosed the reason why she got married intriguingly anew with husband Luis Manzano for the second time.

“And finally, the main reason why we got married again,” noted Jessy in her IG account.

The first time Jessy and Luis tied the knot was in 2021 at the San Benito Farm in Lipa City in Batangas in the presence of Manzano’s parents, Edu Manzano and Vilma Santos, now Vilma Santos-Recto.

At the time, Mendiola was just by herself while her groom wasn’t with his stepdad, now Department of Finance Secretary Ralph Recto.

Jessy said that during the wedding which was held in a chapel, this time in Coron, Palawan, a more pronounced Catholic matrimony was celebrated.

“Lucky and I promised each other that when the time is right, we would push through with our dream wedding. Our dream was to get the Lord’s blessing on our union and we wanted both our families present during that special moment…,” said the actress.
“We got married in the chapel first (thank you for making time for us, (Father Tito Caluag) then we had a beautiful beach ceremony with all our loved ones…,” she added.

This time around in Coron, most of the respective families of Jessy and Lucky were around to share their blissful wedding.

Vilma flew to Palawan with her entourage like sister Emilyn and her staff. Santos posted in her Facebook wall a video of their flight where she announced that they were flying to Palawan.

Obviously, Edu had a separate flight.

Secretary Ralph and son Ryan Christian followed suit.

Jessy’s dad Roger Taliwe and her mom Judith Mendiola and their other relatives were present in the ceremony that was officiated by a Catholic priest.

All these were Jessy’s sources of pride and excitement she dedicated to her first-born Isabelle Rose Tawile Manzano.

“It was also the first time Rosie met my whole family from my parents down to her cousins…
“Oh, what a wonderful feeling to be walked down the aisle by your parents. Seeing Rosie and Luis at the end of the aisle will be a ceremony embedded in my heart (& mind) forever. I never thought I’d be able to experience this. Thank you, Lord, for making this happen,” Mendiola articulated with fondness.
