From the prenup pictorials to the nuptials themselves, Luis Manzano-Jessy Mendiola’s recent wedding was as magical as the first.
Yes, the love between Luis and Jessy is a testament to a strong relationship but it was made stronger by a second wedding because of the other diverse reasons that made them complete and more fulfilled.
During the first wedding of Manzano and Mendiola at the San Benito Farm in Lipa City in 2021, there was no Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano yet.
The occasion wasn’t as mesmerizing yet as the one recently done in Coron, Palawan because the union was witnessed not only by the respective families of the bride and groom but the natural scenic spots of the enchanting seascapes.
More than that, it was bigger Catholic matrimony with Fr Tito Caluag officiating the sacrament.
Jessy’s kin, primarily her dad Roger Tawile, and her mom Judith Mendiola, and their brood were around on her wedding day.
Here’s the bride’s thoughts on why she and Lucky tied the knot again.
“An absolute dream,” exclaimed Jessy as she thanked her glam team that added dimension to the red-letter day.
“And finally, the main reason why we got married again.
“Lucky and I promised each other that we would push through with our dream wedding when the time is right. Our dream was to get the Lord’s blessing on our union and we wanted our families present during that special moment. It was also the first time Rosie met my whole family from my parents down to her cousins. We got married in the chapel first (thank you for making time for us, (Father Tito Caluag), and then we had a beautiful beach ceremony with all our loved ones.
“Oh, what a wonderful feeling to be walked down the aisle by your parents. Seeing Rosie and Luis at the end of the aisle will be a ceremony embedded in my heart (& mind) forever. I never thought I’d be able to experience this. Thank you, Lord, for making this happen.”

Meanwhile, another dreamy yet down-to-earth wedding happened in Alfonso, Cavite when Ana Gia Ricarte and Peter Logica said I dos at the Saint John Nepomucene Parish Church a week ago.
One unique and down-to-earth appearance of the groom was his wearing tennis shoes on his wedding day. “Gusto po kasi ng wife ko na gayon (It’s my wife who liked me wearing rubber shoes on our wedding day),” said Peter.
