The MCDGH management urged Covid-19 patients in need of medical assistance to look for alternative health care facilities.

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – THE Mount Carmel Diocesan General Hospital \(MCDGH) has announced on Friday that it has reached full bed capacity for coronavirus disease patients in its emergency room, intensive care unit (ICU), and Covid-19 wards.

“We would like to inform the public that we have reached full bed capacity for Covid cases in the emergency room, ICU, and wards until further notice,” the hospital management posted on its Facebook page.

They already have patients waiting for admission at the Emergency Room and even at the parking area.

The MCDGH management urged Covid-19 patients in need of medical assistance to look for alternative health care facilities.

The MCDGH officials are also calling the public to get vaccinated against Covid and work together , follow health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

As of August 27, Lucena City has reported 384 active and 3,917 confirmed cases of Covid-19, with 3,381 recoveries and 152 fatalities.
