The Land Transportation Office extended the validity of motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in 8, 9, 0.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) extended the expiration of several cars' registrations for those with plate numbers ending in 8, 9, 0.

•Vehicles with plate numbers ending in 8: extended up to September 30,2022;

•Vehicles with plate numbers ending in 9: extended up to October 31, 2022

•Vehicles with plate numbers ending in 0: extended up to November 30, 2022.

The LTO previously stated that it will meet with its Information Technology (IT) service providers to talk about delays in registration and licensing.

At a public briefing, LTO National Capital Region director Clarence Guinto said the issue is the “priority concern” for LTO chief and Transportation Assistant Secretary Teofilo Guadiz III, said a GMA news report.

Guinto reported that the Land Transportation Management System interface for LTO was having issues and downtime and the LTO is in a transition period with its two IT service providers.
