Remember Pinky Suarez? Pinky who?
Pinky Suarez was launched in the film "Naked Paradise" (1985) whose first screen name was Stella Suarez, Jr. She is the daughter of 1960s sex siren Stella Suarez and twin sister of Richard Gomez, congressman of the 4th District of Leyte Province.
In the movie, she starred opposite another newbie then, Jestoni Alarcon directed by Boots Plata for Ultravision Films.
After almost four decades of not seeing her, I met Pinky at the wake of Jaclyn Jose at the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Araneta Avenue in Quezon City midweek last week.
Oh! Pinky Suarez stiĺl exudes beauty and sex appeal as time goes by.
Excitedly, I had a brief talk with her in the middle of a frenzied mourning crowd.
According to Pinky, who is now a real estate broker with Megaworld, she couldn't let her day pass to pay her last respects to Jaclyn.

"She's a very dear friend. We started our acting career almost at the same time," she said in Taglish, a combination of Tagalog and English languages.
"May iniutos nga sa akin ang brother (Richard) ko pero isinigit ko ang pagpunta rito kay (My brother sent me an errand but I suddenly squeezed in my schedule to pay my last respects to) Jane," she chuckled.
Pinky said Gomez was in Manila at that time to attend to his political obligations as congressional representative of Leyte but would pass by Arlington to pay his last respects to Jose as well.
Chard, according to Suarez, came all the way from Leyte to coordinate with his constituents in the district.
Is Pinky willing to return onscreen?
"Kung may magandang role, bakit naman hindi (If there is a good role, why not?" she replied.
