Jerom Lastimosa not satisfied in S85 so he decided to return for his final playing year to reach his main goal before turning pro
As any great player in sports, one is not easily satisfied with a strong finish, and King Falcon Jerom Lastimosa wants to prove that as he returns for his final UAAP with the Adamson University.
Adamson announced this development on January 3 that Lastimosa will not forgo his final year in the UAAP and set his professional career and international offers aside to play for his school to win a title.
“King Falcon Jerom Lastimosa has opted to stay in San Marcelino and play his final year with the Soaring Falcons,” the post on Adamson University’s Facebook page was reported by Manila Bulletin.
The 5-foot-10 combo guard opted tp forgo playing overseas, particularly for the Korean League, which offered him as much as $12,000 per month, just to play in one of the local teams.
Lastimosa said h was “not satisfied” with his collegiate stint as a whole and would relish the opportunity to make it up for the last time, even though he steered his team to its first Final Four appearance in four years even with a foot injury.
“I’m not really satisfied. We didn’t achieve the main goal, which is to reach the finals, but coach [Nash] told us to be proud of ourselves, always. Be proud of all things you did in the seasons,” Lastimosa after bowing out of the Final Four in S85.
As it seems, luck is on Adamson head coach Nash Racela’s side, since Rappler said, he will have the chance to parade a strong lineup come S86 with the solid core of Lenda Douanga, AP Manlapaz, Joem Sabandal, Cedrick Manzano, and the rookie Eli Ramos who is the younger brother of Dwight Ramos of Gilas Pilipinas.
