After her stint as ad interim president of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), San Pedro City daughter Michelle Nikki Junia is now treading a new leadership path in her managerial career.
Michelle Nikki was unanimously elected as the new president of the Rotary International Club of Makati Paseo de Roxas.
New challenges in the leadership journey lay ahead Junia’s road to head a diverse membership in the once male dominated Rotary Club.
As usual, Nikki is always ready to face up with hurdles, pass them off and emerge a winner.
Heading the CCP even in an interim capacity was a challenge but she was able to prove fruitful advances in the process that helped define her own arts and culture leadership.
Before the turnover ceremony of the Rotary Club’s rights and responsibilities to her as president, Nikki was euphoric of the forthcoming activity.
“District Handover Irresistible Beginnings Revealing the Magic of Rotary,” she posted on FB wall the mocked-up magazine and cover texts with her close-up photo as poster girl.
The turnover and the ringing of the Rotary Bell done in a restaurant in Makati on August 2, 2004 was the start of Nikki’s official job as technocrat of a socio-civic org.
“Club Turnover last night at Milky Way Makati. It's for real,” she wrote in her FB wall.
Meanwhile, on a more personal side and a more effective and long-lasting Rotary presiding stint, Michelle Nikki conquered some spaces in Laguna to bike and to do yoga for healthier life.
“Following Doctor's order... 2 days of yoga this week,” Junia noted in her social media territories.
