Here's another blow to comedian Dennis Padilla, Dennis Baldivia in real life, a native of Nagcarlan, Laguna.
Claudia Barretto, one of Dennis' children by actress Marjorie Barretto, doesn't want to affix his family name to hers.
At the moment, Claudia is seeking the lawful decision of a trial court in Quezon City, the civil registrars of Quezon City and Muntinlupa City and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
The singer wants to remove the family name Baldivia, her inherited name from his dad, from her name.
The young Barretto’s decision made Padilla sad.
“If my sadness will bring joy to you my children...My heart is full...Same Love Same Hope.
“Love you Claui...I respect your decision...Malungkot lang Talaga (It’s just indeed sad),” lamented Dennis in his Instagram.
It must be remembered that Padilla was also sad when Claudia got married to Basti Lorenzo last year.
According to the comedian, he felt he was just a visitor during the wedding of his daughter because he was not the one who sent her to the altar to meet her groom.
