A pair of entrepreneurs in Lucena City decided to capitalize on the popularity of the Netflix show “Money Heist” and adopted the show as the main theme for their café.

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A café and restaurant in this city, owned by John Lee Mancenido and Jhasmine Tan, is now making a name with its unique theme.

The duo decided to capitalize on the popularity of the Netflix show “Money Heist” and adopted the show as the main theme for their café.

From its name – “La Casa de Café”, a play on the Netflix series’ original Spanish name, “La Casa de Papel” – to its interior design, the café is sure to catch the attention of fans of the series.

From wallpaper ng café to crew uniform – lahat ay ‘Money Heist’- inspired.

According to the owners, they decided to start the café to help out fellow Lucenahins whose livelihood were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
