Lagunense music artist and arts manager Michelle Nikki Junia doesn't deny her admiration of Korean popular celebs who have been taking the whole wide world by storm. At the dawn of the K-pop generation in the millennium, Michelle Nikki had already confessed her being a fan of hallyu idols from F4 to BTS to Blackpink to practically everyone in the Korean wave.

To profess her undying love for Korean celebs, Junia still keeps photos, dolls and other images of K-pop idols whether individual of groups up to this day.

"I am an incurable K-pop fan," Michelle Nikki chuckled.

"They are indeed the perfect examples of professionalism and pop culture artistry," she said.

Nikki doesn't miss any show of K-pop performers in the country if she only has the luxury of time listening and watching them.

When she was in Seoul, South Korea a few years back, she paid a visit to some K-pop entertainment agencies and learned that the famous Korean stars are products of intensive and extensive training.

Proof that the President of Musik Garten Manila (a music school for kids and adults alike) never fails to support any Korean artist who pays Manila a visit and performs was when Nikki with her loved ones rushed one night to the Metropolitan Theater in Manila to watch and listen to singer and songwriter Kang Dea-ho, also known as Gaho who was a special guest at the "OST Symphony K-Drama in Concert," a joint project of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Korean Cultural Center-Manila.

Gaho sang with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) a couple of his hits with the Planetarium Records.

Gaho was also onstage with the Philippines' current pop idols Julie Ann San Jose and Zaphanie Dimaranan.

Together, they interpreted, however separately, with the PPO the tunes and lyrics of some of the most beloved music churned out by Koreanovelas like "Crash Landing on You," "The Last Princess," among others.

Michelle Nikki didn't squander a moment and prepared days before the concert.

It wasn't only a privilege and a chance to enjoy and be mesmerized by the music of PPO, Julie Ann and Zephanie but Gaho as well.

To immortalize her meeting with Gaho, Nikki posed with the K-pop sensation in a special photo-op.
