Not a few Lagunenses are missing the immense talent of Julia Clarete, a graduate of Casa del Nino School in Pacita, San Pedro City, Laguna.
Ever since Julia left “Eat Bulaga” as one of its hosts, Lagunenses terrib;y missed her.
Clarete, who decided to withdraw from show business involvement because she got married to businessman Garet McGoewn, promised not to forsake the field completely.
She is just around so if her services are needed, she is willing to share her time and talent to share with her fans and colleagues.
At the opening of the Cinemalaya 21 at the Red Carpet Cinema of the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City, the public saw once more the vivacity and seamless articulation of Julia as she emceed the show and many Lagunenses, particularly, this columnist felt proud a fellow Lagunense was part of the elegant and rare film festival in the country.
According to Clarete, she missed events in show business and hosting the opening of this year’s Cinemalaya gave her the opportunity to mingle with her friends and fellow workers in the entertainment industry.
Clarete’s talent hasn’t diminished.
As a matter of fact, it has added dimension and depth in meaningful public communication.
Not a few Lagunenses await another full- time commitment of Julia not only on live entertainment but on television and film as well.
