The Parade of Stars during the pre-opening of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival held recently was a resounding success.

One of the most colorful floats that participated in the parade was Quantum Films' "Espantaho," a genre thriller that features on film and in the carroza the young actress Judy Ann Santos.

Judy Ann was simple in her white t-shirt and dark pants during the parade but her uniqueness and substance gleaned through her.

It was lady producer Joji Villanueva Alonso who gave inspiration to Juday to ride the float.

It was also Joji who collaborated with her artistic design of the float.

Lorna Toletino who plays mom to Santos in the film was also on board the float.

Both actresses were excited in participating in the parade which was also joined in by the other entry-movies like Star Cinema's "And the Breadwinner is...," Mentorque Productions' "Uninvited," Viva Films' "Hold me Close," Regal Entertainment's "My Future You," Reality MM Studio's "Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital," Kapitol Films' "Isang Himala," Nathan Films' "Topakk," GMA Pictures' " Green Bones" and M-Zet Productions' "The Kingdom."
