When I saw actress Janice Jurado’s photos spread out on social media with the caption San Pedro City, I immediately called her.
Unexpectedly, when she answered the phone, Janice was sobbing.
I asked her what and she said without qualms, “Ang sakit sakit ng tiyan ko. Bumalik ang cervical cancer ko (My stomach aches heavily. My cervical cancer has recurred),” she said crying a river.
According to Jurado, she saw her doctor already and she underwent an ultrasound. “Pero iba-biopsy pa ang laman (They will still determine from the biopsy of the tissues from cervix and uterus),” informed the actress.
Hours before she complained of pain, she was gallivanting in San Pablo City and San Pedro City on her way to Manila.
“Ayaw ko nang magpa-chemo. Ayaw ko na (I don’t want to undergo chemotherapy anymore. I don’t want to),” she decided, still crying.
