What is interesting in new music artist Janah Z is her penchant for a national extension from just merely a personal consumption of her art.
It is because Janah believes that her voice is shared a wider audience.
She's got a good singing voice although she thinks she still has to learn a lot and she is patient about it.
Star Records wouldn't sign her up for a contract if she doesn't have the talent, first and foremost.
"I want to inspire the Filipinos about the importance of music in our lives," says Janah.
"When I recorded the protest song 'Oh, Panginoon Pangunahan Mo Ang Pagbabago,' I was imagining that I was talking to all Filipinos all over the Philippines and the whole world " she adds.
So in the promotion of the socially relevant music, Z wants to conquer not only the Gen Z crowd but the multigenerational population of the globe where Filipinos thrive.
Even in the local market, Janah sees music aficionados to dig her song.
She discloses that yes, the lyrics of her song which was composed by mediaman Ricky Rivera, is the National Langyage so she must tour aroubd the country to advertise her single which is availsble in digital stores like Spotify, iTunes etc.
Even going to provincial shows and promos, Z is willing to embark on a national campaign.
"Sa malalayong probinsiya po (To go to far places) to enlighten the people about corruption," she explains.
I mentioned to her OpinYon 8 and she wants to maximize Samar and Leyte to introduce her artistry.
