Talking to young filmmaker Jaime Morados of Binan City rejuvenated and refreshed in him a lot of memories in the city.
According to Jaime, he misses wandering around the city where he used to play with schoolmates and neighbors.
Although his dad is from San Juan City, his mom is a true-blue Binan daughter.
Morados said he is endeared to Binan because of its historical significance in the national consciousness, a subject he wants to tackle in his movies, past and present.
It is interesting to note that Jaime must be a descendant of Dr. Jose P. RIzal, according to his account.
"Maaari po (It's possible)," exclaimed James.
"Kasi po, Mercado po ang lola ko (It is because my grandmother is a Mercado)," he informed.
It is to be remembered that Rizal is indeed a real Mercado.
James is likely an inheritor of the National Hero as reflected in his intelligence and articulation.
This twenty-five-year-old filmmaker is a graduate of filmmaking at the Meridian International College or Mint where he was taught the rigors of moviemaking with progressive director Jade Castro.
