Jack Animam displayed another monster game with 20 points and 19 rebounds – but that wasn’t enough to save the day for Radnicki Kragujevac, which suffered back-to-back losses after a defeat against Kraljevo in the 2022 First Women's Basketball League of Serbia.

Even with another monster performance, Jack Animam’s team Radnicki Kragujevac suffered back-to-back losses after a defeat against Kraljevo, 86-63, in the 2021-2022 First Women's Basketball League of Serbia last Sunday (October 17) at the Kraljevo Sports Hall.

The Filipina left everything on the floor with a near 20-20 performance.

Animan scored 20 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field along with 19 rebounds and a steal – all in justjust 28 minutes of action.

However, having to sit out the rest of the game in the last 3 minutes and 55 seconds of the game due to her fouling out, Animam could have gotten her team closer to the opponent.

The closest Radnicki got to the lead of Kraljevo was a 10-point deficit in the 5-minute mark of the third quarter. Though Kraljevo had other thoughts in their minds as they went on a 13-1 run to further solidify their lead going to the final frame.

It was Kraljevo’s balanced attack that even Animam could not battle for her team.

Kraljevo was led by their leading scorer Milica Mitrovi with 18 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, and Marija Todorovic four three-point shots for 16 points.

Kraljevo’s Aleksandra Racic even flirted with a triple-double with 13 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 6 steals, and a block. Giving an all-around game for her team.

Marijana Stojanovic was the only other Radnicki player in double-digit scoring as she supported Animam’s effort with 15 points and 5 rebounds in 38 minutes.

Unfortunately, this is Radnicki’s second straight loss after succumbing to the defending champions Crvena Zvezda, 104-66, last week.

Animam has been the brightest spot for Radnicki Kragujevac in their first three games of the season.

The Filipina is averaging 23 points and 15 rebounds per game, which carries both offense and defense for Radnicki.

Radnicki Kragujevac will return to their court next week to play Duga Sabac, looking to snap this two-game losing streak.
