‘Iskolar ng Laguna’ to continue, Gov. Sol pledges
Students in Laguna province who have benefitted from the “Iskolar ng Laguna” program now need not worry about their future.
This, after Governor Sol Aragones announced that the program, launched under the administration of former Governor and now 2nd District Representative Ramil Hernandez, will be continued and expanded.
In a Facebook live video last August 4, Aragones assured the over 18,000 students who are under the “Iskolar ng Laguna” program will continue to receive their grants.
The governor added that the payment of scholarship grants for currently enrolled scholars for their 2nd semester will push through in the months of September and October.
Matatanggap pa rin nila ang 2nd payment [grants] nila," Aragones said in her video.
Meanwhile, the governor also announced plans to add additional slots for the provincial government’ scholarship program.
