It is a whirlwind romance, indeed.
GMA Network news reporter Mav Gonzales and Fil-Am Matthew Valena just got to meet up in a dating app early this year - and look what a beautiful couple they have become.
In a matter of months, they were engaged.
Matthew came all the way from the United States of America to offer marriage to Mav and no worries, the latter accepted his proposal with a delightful heart.
"I love him so much," said Gonzalez in an exclusive interview at the Crowne Plaza in Ortigas Avenue after the "Fashion Forte" runway show where iconic couturier Albert Figueras and newbie sartorial creators were featured.
The couple were special guests at the event to lend moral support to Figueras who is a best friend of musician and fashion designer Erick Valena, a cousin of Matthew.
According to Mav, she and Valena are compatible.
"She's an inspiration," smiled Matthew.
He added that Gonzales is an ideal woman..
Wedding bells, said Mav, will ring next year.
