Globe said service support as well as field service personnel services would continue during the ECQ period from August 6 to August 20.

Globe Telecom’s costumers have been assured that support services for their mobile and broadband services will continue throughout the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila.

In an announcement Monday (August 2), Globe said service support would continue during the ECQ period from August 6 to August 20 and advised its customers to take advantage of its digital support and service channels such as its GCash, GlobeOne and Globe at Home mobile applications.

“Customers have access to their needs from buying load, tracking of data and promos, quick troubleshooting of issues, and reporting customer service concerns while remaining safe at home,” Globe said.

For concerns that are beyond the scope of its mobile apps, it advised Globe customers to call 211 and 808 for TM users to report concerns and other self-service transactions.

Globe users have free access to select government websites -- doh.gov.ph, pia.gov.ph and ndrrmc.gov.ph -- to keep themselves up-to-date with the latest developments throughout the ECQ.

Globe mobile users can also call government hotlines such as the National Emergency Hotline (911) and landline numbers of the Department of Health (8651 7800, 8942 6843, 1555) and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (8911-5061 to 65; 8911-1406, 8912-2665, 8912-5668, 8911-1873) for free.

For home broadband customers, Globe at Home’s customer field service personnel will remain on standby to help with service repairs requiring onsite visits and assistance.

“Customers may request for onsite visit or service assistance using the Globe at Home app, also readily available for download and free to use,” Globe said.

Globe technicians have been trained to follow strict health protocols “before, during, and after their deployment.”
