Dwight Ramos led the Gilas shooting seven from deep to finish with 21 points in the first half on top of 6 assists, 5 steals, and 3 rebounds overall.

Gilas Pilipinas outlasted Jordan's Team B 90-63 to pick up a win in an exhibition game in the King Abdullah Cup at the Prince Hamzah Sports Hall in Amman, Jordan on Wednesday night (July 28).

The game was considered an exhibition game and did not count in the standings, as the Jordan Basketball Federation deemed that games against their B squad would not count.

Dwight Ramos led the Gilas shooting seven from deep to finish with 21 points in the first half on top of 6 assists, 5 steals, and 3 rebounds overall.

Justine Baltazar, still with the hot hands from the game against Saudi Arabia, connected three shots from the perimeter for a total of 13 markers.

Jordan Heading also made three of his seven outside shots, contributing 11 points while Carl Tamayo just missed out on a double-double with his eight points and nine rebounds, and the veteran Rey Suerte also got eight points, five boards, and three assists for Gilas.

The national team continued to fire from the outside with a 44-percent efficiency from 16-of-36 shots made, building a comfortable lead that went as high as 31 points, 90-59.

The Philippines also shot 50 percent from the field, handed out 24 assists as a team and won the battle on the boards (45-30) against Jordan, with only a 40 percent efficiency from the field.

Ahmad Obeid led Jordan-B with 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists, as Ibrahim Hamati got 10 points and five dimes in a losing effort.

All 15 Gilas players were utilized during the exhibition match.

The Philippines opened the tournament with a 73-60 loss to Egypt, followed by a 77-62 victory over Saudi Arabia on Tuesday resulting in a 1-1 standing.

Gilas Pilipinas will face Tunisia on Thursday, July 30, at 12:00 a.m (Manila time) in the pocket tournament.
