Are you looking for some worthwhile activities for your children this summer season?

Or are you an amateur athlete looking for specialized training to hone your skills in your chosen sports?

The Laguna Provincial Sports and Games Development Office (PSGDO) has got you covered.

From April 21 to June 23, the PSGDO will conduct a total of 73 sports clinics at different cities and municipalities in the province, in time for the official summer vacation period.

The free sports clinics cover 17 disciplines, including arnis, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, chess, football, futsal, Karate-do, Muaythai, Pencak Silat, swimming, softball, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, and volleyball.

Building on the success of last year's sports clinics which engaged almost 3000 children, Sports Development Officer Mario Tobias is optimistic that the clinic will have a higher participation this 2025.

The conduct of the free sport clinics is one of the centerpiece grassroots sports programs of PSGDO.

Aside from fostering an active lifestyle and cultivating a sporting culture among young Lagunenses, the program also opens opportunities for potential athletes to be scouted for the provincial training pool and be considered in higher level sports competitions.

The full schedule of activities, as well as links for registration forms and other information, can be found at the PSGDO's official Facebook page ("Laguna Sports").
