It is said that when a person is gone, many past experiences, good or bad, are remembered by the people left behind.

Such is the case in the untimely demise of award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose who died last Saturday, March 2, at the age of sixty due, according to her daughter Andi Eigenmann, to myocardial infarction or heart attack.

Former sex sirens Vida Verde and Janice Jurado reminisced their experiences with Jaclyn, Mary Jane Guck in real life.

Jose came to show business at the time Vida and Janice were also starting their budding film acting careers in the early '80s.

Jurado best remembered Jaclyn when she was stricken with breast cancer.

"Maraming salamat po Ms. Jaclyn Jose, alam po ninyo kung anong ibig kong sabihin, sobrang tulong ang ginawa mo sa akin sa mga panahon na bagong labas ako sa hospital, 2017 May 8 nang ako ay naopera sa cancer ko, hindi lang financial, moral at spiritual support, maraming salamat po (Many thanks. I know you knew what I meant. You helped me immensely after I was discharged from the hospital when I went under knife for cancer. Not only financial, moral and spiritual support).

"Plano ko sana dalawin ka sa taping ng 'Batang Quiapo' pero walang nagsabi sa akin ng location nyo. NASA KAMAY KA NA NG PANGINOON, IBULONG KAY LORD, SALAMAT SA LAHAT (I planned to pay you a visit in the taping but no one dared to tell me the location. YOU ARE NOW IN THE HANDS OF THE LORD, I WANNA WHISPER TO HIM, THANK YOU SO MUCH)," said Janice in her Facebook wall.

Meanwhile, Vida retold her camaraderie with Jaclyn at the time their respective boyfriends were brothers.

Loy Mabasa, the singer was Verde's beau while Roy Mabasa, the journalist was Jose's boyfriend.

"Lagi kaming magkasama ni Jane sa mga lakaran dahil magkapatid ang mga syota namin (Jane and I were always together because our boyfriends were brothers)," recalled Vida, Catherine Mejia in real life.

"Ang bait-bait ni Jane at ang payat-payat niya no'n (Jane was very kind and very slim at the time)," said Verde.

Loy and Roy are siblings of the late fierce broadcaster Percy Lapid.

"Ang buhay nga naman (Oh! That's how life is)," exclaimed Vida.
