The Department of Agriculture has earlier said that the massive fish kill in Taal Lake, a major source of fish products for Metro Manila and Southern Luzon, should not result in a hike in seafood prices. The BFAR, for its part, warned that dead fish from the lake should not be sold on markets as they are not fit for human consumption. (MT)
