Young fashion designer Erick Valena is, literally and figuratively, going places.

At the rate things are going, where fashion trends and forecasts are predictable, Erick's runway-related activity calendar is fully loaded as he sees to it that he has equal distribution of time for them.

Even his personal matters matter so he allots fair treatment between work and leisure.20

Valena has already divided his schedules the whole-year-round from atelier management to fashion gig production participation.

In the month of May alone, Erick shuttles from one show to the next.

From May 20 to 30, 2025, he is committed to fulfill his obligations as a daily exhibitor and presenter of the Mayflower fashion display and procession for the "Flores de Mayo" celebration at the Market! Market! entertainment hall.

Many of this Quezon-born fashion creator’s creations are explicitly celebratory of the colorful tapestry of the Mayflower spirit where clothes and frocks are floral if not gem-like.

Meanwhile, last May 25, Erick had again shared his sartorial sense and vision with the public in a collaborative ramp parade of another Flores de Mayo motif, this time at the Atrium East Wing Greenhills Mall, for the MISSDI Fashion Runway Cycle 13.

"Doing one show one after the other is taxing but I immensely enjoy it. It's my passion. I am inspired," exclaimed Valena.

On top of these shows, Valena also owns and manages a dress shop in Lopez, Quezon where he will play this weekend as one of the Hermanos (hosts/organizers/prime movers) for the 2025 Mayflower Festival (at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Church), an annual affair in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Flowers.
