Organized by FAKE zine, this year's "FAKE Fair" involved several Instagram-savvy merchants and restaurants aiming to celebrate local creativity.

FAKE Fair 2021 has, so far, been a success. This fair was organized by FAKE zine, launched back in June 2021, and is currently holding lots of attention from the public

Some gastronomic offerings in this fair include the following: Pasbo’s Rosso & Gialla, a pepperoni pizza in lasagna form; Kalidad Coffee’s mocktail called FAKE Lemonade; Haynayan Ketchups’ spicy strawberry, mango, and pineapple varieties; The Thirsty Llama’s Baby Spice, a peppercorn-infused spiced strawberry vodka drink; YO’s Homemade’s Pina Print, a cookie with pineapple and ground pistachio; Booya’s Bagels’ Sana Ol Bagel; Po’s Adobol Bun, Wideye Coffee’s FAKE x Cold Brew Concentrate, and more.

Also under the FAKE Fair, merch such as logo tees with silkscreen designs of “Bantay the Cerberus”, a poster zine called “Nilad”, a t-shirt collection in collaboration with streetwear brand Thank You, and more.

This fair celebrates FAKE zine’s “Issue 00: Gangs of Manila” that was released last year. It covered Manila-based artists like Basura Girls, Idioterne Inc., A-Team Femme, and Black Beach Boys, and others.

From July 17 to August 17, an art show fundraiser for Sulong, an NGO for victim-survivors of sexual abuse, will be held in collaboration with Parcel Exhibitions and Cartellino.

It is to be called Kalon, and it features works by Sam Domingo, Denver Garza, FAKE zine, Jan Sunday, Maricar Tolentino, Bryan Pollero, Cru Camara, Regina Reyes, Martin Yambao, Bel Weber, and Alexandria Mesias.

On August 6, the online roundtable entitled “Ask Sulong!” will be held to discuss gender sensitivity.
