F2 Logistics Cargo Movers taps Regine Diego for the upcoming 2023 PVL Conferences; Lets go of six players.

After years of coach Ramil De Jesus and assistant coach Benson Bocboc guiding the ladies in yellow, the PVL team has announced a new tactician to call the shots in Regine Diego.

F2 Logistics made the announcement on January 12 in their social media accounts about tapping the De La Salle University product, who was also under De Jesus, and helped steer the Lady Spikers to four UAAP championships.

“We welcome Coach Regine Diego to our team called family,” the post was published by Manila Bulletin.

Moving on from college, Diego then transitioned to being a coach right after graduating and landed a spot on the National University Women’s and Girls’ volleyball programs, where she ended up becoming a champion coach after the Lady Bullpups won the UAAP Season 82 title after sweeping all their matches.

Aside from the changes in the coaching staff, the Cargo Movers also bade farewell to six players from their current roster namely Tin Tiamzon, Dzi Gervacio, Des Clemente, Chloe Cortez, Alex Cabanos, and Rem Cailing, ahead of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League season, reported Sports Inquirer.

“Representing us in front of thousands of people is never an easy job and it will never be, but because of your courage, wisdom, passion and your love for this team, for this family, you made each match a memorable one,” the statement read. “You have inspired people through your skills and character. Thank you for being part of F2.”
“Tin, Lourdes, Alex, Chloe, Rem, and Dzi, life may have led you to take on a different challenge, but we have no doubts that you will do more than well because there will always be an F2 Cargo Mover in you. Good luck on your next move! Keep on moving,” the Cargo Movers added.

Among the players who were cut off, Tiamzon has been with the team the longest as she was signed right away after graduating from DLSU and spent her semi-pro career with the team.

Shortly after the news broke, Tiamzon took to Instagram and thanked everyone and surprised everyone by saying “Signing off and hanging my jersey,” ended her post.

If that was Tiamzon retiring from the sport, she would be joining Cabanos and Cortez who announced their retirement in September last year and on January 5, respectively.
