All vaccination statuses are welcome but you might have to sit alone for the rides.
Two of the well-known amusement parks, Star City in Pasay and Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa Laguna, are opening their doors this month!
After closing due to a fire and the pandemic prohibiting its reopening, Star City is finally welcoming families as the metro eases into Alert Level 2.
Complying with the guidelines, the amusement park requires all adult guests to be fully vaccinated, showing proof of their vaccination status upon entry.
Guests below 18 years old may enter regardless of their vaccination status.
“We will be operating at a maximum of 50% indoor venue capacity and 70% outdoor capacity,” wrote Star City in a post. Their website and social media pages will provide updates on the park’s capacity.
Starting February 24, Star City will be open from Thursdays to Sundays, from 12 nn to 8 pm.
Their all-you-can-ride Star Pass costs P400 but some attractions such as Snow World are separate and cost P150. Tickets are available on the website, starcity.com.ph, and on-site.
All the way to Laguna, Enchanted Kingdom opened to fully vaccinated individuals late last year but voluntarily closed due to the omicron surge “although alert level 2 or 3 allows theme parks to open.”
This time around, the park will welcome guests of all ages regardless of vaccination status.
However, indoor attractions and dining establishments will only allow entry to the fully vaccinated.
Like its counterpart in Pasay, Enchanted Kingdom may only operate under a limited 70% capacity for outdoor and 50% for indoor rides, attractions, and establishments.
Face masks are mandatory for all guests as well as random body temperature checks and social distancing.
“Certain establishments, rides/attractions, and other offerings may be modified, have limited capacity, or unavailable,” the advisory reads.
Enchanted Kingdom’s opening day is on Friday, Feb 25 but afterward, the park will operate only on weekends from 11 am to 7 pm until June 27.
