At the media launch of Earth Hour Philippines 2023 held at the Quezon City hall today, the LGU announced that it will host this year's Earth Hour celebration in the Philippines on March 25, 2023 at the Quezon Memorial Circle in partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature-Philippines (WWF-Philippines).

The city will join over 7,000 cities from 193 countries to commemorate Earth Hour, the switching off of lights for an hour at exactly 8:30 p.m. In attendance are Climate Change Commission representative Ludwig Federigan, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department head Andrea Valentine A. Villaroman, QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, Earth Hour Ph Ambassadress Mikee Conjuanco-Jaworski, WWF-Ph Executive Director Katherine Custodio, and Earth Hour Ph National Director Angela Ibay.
