Heavy equipment dredge the mud along the riverbank of Marikina River in Barangay Malanday to increase the carrying capacity of the river.
The Marikina LGU continues to dredge the river from the previous 50 meters to 60 and widen it up to 70 to 90 meters. The Marikina River deepened by 2 to 3 meters.
