Disney+ finally lands in the Philippines and will be available via two monthly or yearly subscriptions starting on November 17.

Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Ltd. announced the future arrival of the much- awaited streaming service Disney+ to the Philippines on October 20.

Disney+ is expected to be available in the region from November 17, coming with two subscription plans including a monthly mobile option priced at ₱159 per month, which can be watched on phones or tablets, or pay for the whole year to save 40 percent for only ₱1,150/yr.

Meanwhile, a premium plan is also available that will allow users to watch in up to 4K Ultra HD resolution across four screens, including laptops and TVs which will cost ₱369/mo and ₱2,950/yr.

“We are excited that consumers in the Philippines can soon connect with their beloved characters and brands and enjoy access to some of the world’s most original and iconic stories, told by the world’s most talented creators.”

Disney+ will be bringing iconic brands such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic and Star and will include Marvel series WandaVision and The Mandalorian, and Korean content like Snowdrop, BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-LA.

Fairytale classics and favorites from Disney such as Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, The Lion King, Frozen, and Encanto will be available for streaming, as well as the newer Pixar films such as Coco, Lightyear, and Soul.

Over 1,800 films and 32,000 episodes of tv shows will be initially be up for viewing in phones, tablets, laptops and even smart TVs such as Samsung and LG and connected TV devices, including Google TV and other Android TV OS, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD and Chromecast.
