The best way to discover Hong Kong anew is through the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), a government-subsidized body dedicated to marketing and promoting Hong Kong as a global travel destination by enhancing visitors’ experiences.
Our group of five media representatives from the Philippines, including actress Ashley Ortega, embarked on an unforgettable journey through Hong Kong. We were graciously hosted by Regal Hotels International, in collaboration with their official sales representatives in the Philippines, VFC Travel and Tours which made our stay at two Regal Hotels properties — Regala SKYCITY Hotel in Lantau Island and Regal Hong Kong Hotel in Causeway Bay — truly fantastic!
To cap off our adventure, HKTB treated us to an unforgettable experience on the final day on November 25, 2023.
HKTB provided us with transportation to explore Hong Kong. A well-appointed coach picked us up promptly at 9:00 am from Regal Hotel. Despite the driver’s limited English proficiency, he patiently guided us through Hong Kong’s highlights and ensured we reached Hong Kong International Airport in time for their 10:00 pm flight back to Manila.

After bidding farewell to Regal Hong Kong in Causeway Bay, we ventured to ArteM, an immersive media art installation that explores the theme of ETERNAL NATURE. This captivating experience combines breathtaking visuals, sensuous sounds, and elegant fragrances, creating an immersive journey into nature’s wonders. Highlights include the mesmerizing STARRY BEACH and the enchanting EGRET’S STROLL IN THE MYSTERIOUS SEA.
Their next stop was Sky100, an indoor observation deck offering panoramic views of Hong Kong. Situated atop a 100th-floor structure, Sky100 provides breathtaking vistas of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour, and beyond. In addition to its stunning views, Sky100 features interactive exhibits and facilities to explore Hong Kong’s rich culture and history. As Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture, M+ offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of art, design, and architecture. During our visit, they explored the special exhibition “Madame Song: Pioneering Art and Fashion in China,” dedicated to the legendary Song Huai-Kuei. This exhibition showcases over 320 objects, including rare archival materials and artworks, highlighting Madame Song’s influential role in Chinese art, film, and fashion, and her journey from the 1950s to the early 2000s and her profound impact on shaping modern China.
