The Department of Social Welfare and Development recently distributed 150 mobile phones to beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino (4Ps) program in the "REINA" towns (Real, Infanta and Gen. Nakar) of Quezon.
The program is part of the Digital Financial Inclusion Initiative of the national government.

In his speech Gatchalian said the distribution of mobile phones is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. to facilitate the process of financial assistance distribution using digital platforms in partnership with GCash to make government services more accessible to the people in far-flung areas.
