IBA, Zambales – In an impressive display of skill and expertise, Comteq College emerged as the Overall Champion in the 2023 TESDA Provincial Skills Competition, held from November 28 to 30 in Iba, Zambales.

The college clinched an impressive nine gold medals across seven IT-related skill categories, solidifying its position as a leader in technical education and training. The skills categories include Graphic Design Technology, IT Network Cabling, Web Technologies, IT Network System Administration, Internet of Things, IT Software Solutions for Business, and Mobile Robotics.

This year's competition saw a plethora of talented participants, but it was the competitors and experts from Comteq College who stole the show. Their dedication, hard work, and technical prowess were evident in their performance, leading them to a sweeping victory in the competition.

The event, which focuses on various technical and vocational skills, particularly highlighted the importance of IT competencies in today’s digital age. Comteq College's achievement in these categories underscores the institution's commitment to excellence in technical and vocational education, especially in the field of information technology.

The people of Olongapo City, home to Comteq College, have expressed immense pride in their achievement. "Our students' success is a testament to the quality of education and training we provide. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication, which have rightly placed them at the forefront of technical skills excellence," said Prof. Danny Piano, president of the college.
