Starting this week, eight electric buses were deployed for the Quezon City Bus Augmentation program (more commonly known as QCBus), which provides free rides for commuters to various areas in Quezon City. The new electric buses, which were first deployed on test runs last year, can seat up to 41 passengers and are equipped with wheelchair ramps for PWD accessibility, as well as CCTV cameras and smart televisions.
