Budget flights don't have to mean budget meals.

This was the message of budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) as it announced an "upgrade" in its in-flight dining experience.

Starting December 1, travelers flying with CEB will be treated to a new, expanded selection of buy-on-board menu items from the enhanced CEB Fun Cafe menu.

The airline has widened its selection of drinks, snacks, breads, and meals, which can now be purchased directly in-flight, eliminating the need for advance pre-ordering.

Among the highlights of the refreshed menu are three new beverages: Iced Black Coffee, Milk Tea with Jelly, and Iced Hibiscus Lychee with Mango Popping Boba, available across all domestic and international flights for as low as P80.00.

Served cold and freshly prepared upon order, these drinks offer a refreshing boost and are the perfect companions for long journeys.

The airline said that passengers can also savor new snack and bread options, including Nachos with Salsa Dip, Cheesy Garlic Brioche, Tuna Asado Pull-Apart, and Pan de Macaroon, starting at an affordable price of P120.00.

CEB is also making its fan-favorite hot meals more accessible.

The airline's bestselling Char Siu Chicken, Beef Adobo, and Pinoy Spaghetti - previously available only through pre-order - can now be purchased on board on select flights. These complement CEB's current lineup of hot meals such as Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Green Curry, Vegetable Tom Yum with Rice and Quinoa, and Penne Chicken Bolognese.

Cebu Pacific added that to make the onboard dining experience even more convenient, the carrier accepts a variety of payment options, including cash on Philippine peso, US dollar, and other currencies of destinations it flies to, as well as credit cards on select flights.

CEB currently operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
