Budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) has announced that flights operated by Cebgo going to Masbate and Siargao will be relocated from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 to Clark in Pampanga.
CEB management said "effective March 30, 2025, flights to and from Manila will relocate to Clark International Airport."
The airline added that this is in line with the resolution issued by the Manila Slot Coordination Committee of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) on December 3, 2024.
The budget carrier also confirmed the gradual transfer of turboprop aircraft operations from NAIA Terminal 2 to nearby airports.
Meanwhile, direct services from Manila to Surigao will be cancelled and passengers will have the option to connect via Cebu.
"CEB recognizes the importance of managing airport capacity effectively, which will lead to improved passenger experience and greater public convenience," the CEB stated.
AirSwift, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Cebu Pacific, will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2 until March 2026. (BENJAMIN LIM)
