CCP Head Michelle Nikki Junia shuttles from Clark to Puerto Princesa for arts and culture collab with LGUs

Must it be shooting two birds with one stone?

What a way to perform official duties to fulfill one’s obligations to enhance the importance of arts and culture to the progress and development of the country.

That was President of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Michelle Nikki Junia just did as the President of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) when she visited two key regions in the country with the mandate of how to advance artistic and cultural activities at the grassroots level.

On her Facebook wall, Michelle Nikki exclaimed: “From Clark, Pampanga to Puerto Princesa, Palawan! All in 1 day!!! THANK YOU for such a warm welcome and with banner pa!” she noted with heart, prayerful palms clasped together, Philippine flag and smiling face emojis. 

Part of the official bulletin released by the Palawan Public Information Office (PIO) reads: “TINGNAN (LOOK): Malugod na sinalubong ni Gob. V. Dennis M. Socrates at mga kawani ng kapitolyo ang pagbisita ni (The Governor and the personnel of the provincial capital warmly welcomed the courtesy visit of) Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) President Ad Interim Michelle Nikki Junia kasama si (together with) CCP Project Manager Joshua Ceasar Chan at ilang staff ng (and staff) CCP sa kanilang (in their) courtesy visit…

“Nagkaroon ng maikling pagpupulong kung saan nagpasalamat si Junia sa mainit na pagtanggap sa kanila ng gobernador gayundin sa magandang ugnayan at kolaborasyon ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Palawan at CCP lalo na sa mga naging pagtatanghal at magiging presentasyon sa susunod pang mga taon gaya ng pagtatanghal ngayong araw sa VJR Hall ng kapitolyo ng Prinsipe Bahaghari Puppet Show na produksiyon ng Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng (There was a short meeting where Junia thanked the warm welcome of the governor and the harmonious relationship and collaboration between the Provincial Government of Palawan and) CCP especially the showing and the future presentation of Prince Rainbow Puppet Show, a production of) Teatrong Mulat of the Philippines.

Governor Socrates also thanked Culture and Arts Program Manager Ceasar Sammy Magbanua for the CCP's unending support of the activities of the Provincial Government concerning arts and culture in the country.
