Cathay Pacific Manila was awarded the Airport Excellence Award for its exemplary performance (Best Airport Performance), which was recognized as the best among other airports in Southeast Asia.

The award was presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in port performance, the most successful port for Asia Mile sign-ups, exceptional resilience and operational proficiency, and exceptional excellence in customer engagement.

Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions, Inc (PAGSS) CEO and President Janette Cordero said that the Airport Excellence Award was held during the Southeast Asia Kick-Off Conference at the Intercontinental Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

"The airport excellence is for the year 2023. The awarding date was last January 29-31, 2024," Cordero said.

PAGSS serves as Cathay Pacific's partner in Manila and is responsible for ground handling services for the Hong Kong-based airline.

Cathay Pacific Manila operates at Terminal 3 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). The company's headquarters is situated in Makati City.

PAGSS is IATA's (International Air Transport Association) Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) accredited. It operates at eight international airports throughout the Philippines, including the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and is the designated ground handler of over 30 international airlines.
