After winning the Best Actress award for the progressive film “Third World Romance” from the prestigious Gawad Urian of the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino (MPP) Saturday night, young star Charlie Dizon immediately rushed home to prepare for her wedding day the following afternoon.
Charlie tied the knot with fellow actor Carlo Aquino in a very solemn wedding at a serene reception events hall in Silang, Cavite.
Dizon and Carlo got engaged two years ago while they were doing “Third World Romance” for Black Sheep Productions of ABS-CBN.
Some of the major sponsors in the wedding were Charo Santos-Concio, Cory Vidanes, Carlo Katigbak, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. and his wife, Cavite 2nd District Representative Lani Mercado.
