Traditionally, immediately after a wedding, the husband and wife embark on one of the most exciting parts of the matrimony—honeymoon.

While it is true that other couples opt to cancel honeymoons because of pressing commitments like on-the-spot assignments the man or the woman or both of them couldn’t beg off and other unavoidable circumstances, most newly installed couples would let go off the romantic trysts.

One of the newly-weds who didn’t enjoy an immediate honeymoon after her wedding was Lovi Poe who flew back quickly to the Philippines after tying the knot with businessman and Hollywood producer Monty Blencowe.

Lovi rushed home to go back to her acting contracts with ABS-CBN’s “Batang Quiapo.”

After a few shooting stints, though, Poe went to the United Kingdom to be with her husband.

There are still couples who had squeezed in their honeymoons right after their wedding like Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde who slipped to Switzerland amid work on TV and film.

Yet Arjo’s sis Ria Atayde and her husband Zanjoe Marudo chose to have a getaway not by their twosome but with her family.

After their pre-Holy Week nuptials, Zanjoe and Ria joined the Ataydes in a beach outing on Easter Sunday.

The newly-weds were with Maine and Arjo, and siblings Gela and Xavi Atayde with their parents Sylvia Sanchez and Art Atayde who together plunged in the waters to celebrate the Lord’s ascension to heaven.

It was a form of honeymoon for Marudo and Atayde.

In his Instagram posts, Zanjoe greeted everyone with a “Happy Easter Sunday.”

Gela teased her sis and brother-in-law about their special love adventure as “honeymoon but with the whole family.”
