STO. TOMAS City -- Secretary Roman A. Felix, from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Military and Police Affairs (OPAMA), commended the exemplary service of 16 members of Calabarzon’s Finest during a Flag Raising ceremony on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Police Regional Office CALABARZON in Camp BGEN Vicente P Lim, Calamba City.
Joined by PRO4A Regional Director, PBGEN Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, and members of the Command Group, the Secretary presided over the awarding ceremony, honoring PRO4A personnel for their outstanding achievements in service.
Addressing the personnel of PRO CALABARZON, he emphasized their loyalty to the current administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. "Our loyalty to the administration must be unconditional and unwavering at all times. We are responsible for preserving political stability in our country, so we need to be steadfast and loyal to our duly constituted authorities," he emphasized.
Secretary Felix further underscored the essence of loyalty, quoting Elbert Hubbard, "If you work for a man, in heaven’s name work for him, speak well of him, and stand by the institution he represents. Remember, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness. If you must growl, condemn, and eternally find fault, resign your position, and when you are outside, damn to your heart’s content. But as long as you are part of the institution, do not condemn it. If you do, the first high wind that comes along will blow you away, and probably you will never know why."
