Adjustments on the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) at airports supervised by the Civil Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) will only apply to tickets purchased on or after April 21, 2025.

The CAAP made this clarification following earlier announcements that it is making adjustments to its PSC at all of its airports, taking into account inflation rates from 2015 to the present.

Tickets purchased before the effective date will continue to be honored at the previous PSC rate.

Passengers with these tickets will not incur any extra charges, as the PSC integrated into their tickets will remain valid regardless of the date of travel.

Under the new rates, passengers departing on international flights from International Airports, Principal Class 1 Airports, and Principal Class 2 Airports will be charged P900.00 or USD17.00.

CAAP also clarified that the previous PSC for international departures was P784.00 (inclusive of tax), not P550.00 as cited in some earlier reports.

For domestic flights, the revised PSC rates are as follows: P350.00 at International Airports, P300.00 at Principal Class 1 Airports, P200.00 at Principal Class 2 Airports, and P100.00 at Community Airports.

The adjustment supports CAAP's efforts to enhance passenger experience and improve airport facilities and operations.
