According to co-owners AJ Manuel and Bokeng Ancanan, the space is dedicated to artists. “Prone kami sa mga kaibigang artists na kapag nakakarating dito, ayaw nang bumaba ng Manila or ayaw nang umalis so prone kami na matambayan,” Bokeng said.

There is a recording studio inside one of the nipa huts there. According to Paul Puti-An, one of the musicians who live in the village, the quality of sound produced here is impressive. “Para kaming naka-soundproof kaagad eh,” he said.
Other artists find that being surrounded by nature and by fellow artists are inspiring them to create more artwork.
This hub has produced a safe space where artists could explore, hone, and show their crafts. This community is expected to grow more in population and in popularity in the years to come. (EFO)
