Pageant season is not yet over for the Philippines after the recent grand coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines.

Another organization, Binibining Pilipinas Charity, Inc (BPCI), is set to make its pageantry when it unveils the most awaited Binibining Pilipinas national costume.

BPCI is the former franchise holder for Miss Universe Philippines before it was transferred to the Miss Universe Philippines Organization. Just a year later, BPCI also announced its withdrawal to hold the franchise for Miss Grand International.

With three titles, 40 delegates from all over the Philippines, vie to represent the country for Miss International, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Globe.

Quezonian Anje Mae Manipol, 22, will bring to the Filipinos the must-see landmarks in Quezon province on her national costume. In a Facebook post, the organization Binibining Pilipinas featured Manipol's costume as 'the land of thousand colors, Quezon is a melting pot of culture, a haven of arts, agricultural wealth and economic growth'.

Ange Manipol 's creation incorporated a leaf-shaped wafer made with glutinous rice known as 'kiping' as well as other farm products during the celebration of Pahiyas Festival in Lucban Quezon.

Other features of the costume included coconut products and embellishments of a Baroque architecture design, an image of the Minor Basilica of Saint Michael Archangel in Tayabas, Quezon built in 1585.

The Binibining Pilipinas National Costume Competition will be held on May 18 at The New Frontier Theater while the grand coronation night will be on May 28.
