The First Biliran Business and Franchise Expo, held from March 14 to 16, attracted a significant number of potential investors interested in exploring business opportunities in the province.

The three-day event, organized by the provincial government of Biliran through its Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office and DTI Biliran Provincial Office, featured prominent franchising companies from across the country, as well as local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Ruben Bediones, franchise operations manager of LC Big Mak Burger and Super Mac Food Group, said they participated in the event to guide Biliranons and others interested in business on how to run a successful enterprise.

He shared valuable insights on how to manage a business effectively, particularly in the field of franchising, emphasizing that anyone planning to venture into franchising should carefully study and consider their investment.

“Franchising involves a large capital, so it’s not something to decide on impulsively, proper planning is essential,” he said.

Bediones also encouraged Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), government retirees, and other potential investors not to hesitate to invest in franchising, pointing out that such ventures do not only enhance personal income but also help create jobs and contribute to the local economy’s growth.

Bediones highlighted Biliran’s transformation from what he once called a “sleeping province” into a promising hub for business opportunities in Eastern Visayas.
