Big-time lady drug dealer nabbed in Quezon

A series of operations conducted by elements of Quezon Provincial Police resulted in the arrest of several suspected drug personalities including an alleged big-time lady drug dealer in Lucena City on Tuesday.

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – COMBINED police teams from Quezon Police Provincial Office scored big in their campaign against illegal drugs following thearrest of a suspected big-time lady drug dealer in a sting operation in this city on Tuesday (May 18).

Quezon PNP Provincial Director Col. Ericson Dilag identified the suspect as Neriza Romualdez Oracion, 46, jobless and a resident of Sto. Rosario Subdivision, Barangay 4, Lucena City.

Dilag said Oracion was collared during a buy-bust operation carried out by joint elements of Lucena City police station under Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea and Provincial Intelligence Unit led by Major Gaylor Pagala.

Police recovered 41 sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a market value of P4.1 million, as well as marked money totaling P12,500, a digital weighing scale and P2,056 in cash.

In a phone interview, Pagala said Oracion is a newly identified drug personality but has been under tight watch by his men following reports that she is a bigtime drug peddler.

The same police team also arrested four suspected drug pushers including another woman and seized some P0.6-million worth of illegal drugs in four consecutive anti-drug operations in this city on Monday.

Albacea identified the suspects as Juaquinito Ayangco, 27, John Mark Nepales, 25, both residents of Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Mary Joe Zorca, 38, of Brgy. 8 and Ronualdo Villanueva, 47, of Brgy. Ilayang Iyam, all in Lucena City.

The suspects are now behind bars and were charged with violations of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.) (Gemi Formaran, OpinYon Quezonin)
