The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has ordered an investigation into the alleged entry of a Malaysian national who has already been blacklisted from the country.

According to reports, the Malaysian national, identified as Wong Hoh Ming, was able to pass through immigration at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 last December 5 despite being included on a BI blacklist.

Ming left the country on December 13, according to BI officials.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco has immediately ordered a probe into how did the foreigner somehow pass through immigration at NAIA despite being included in the bureau’s blacklist.
